This game is better than the first one....really creapy. Very nice game!!!I want to THANKS bo3b for help me with some decompiler issues, important to fix shadows, lights and reflections.
Fix:
- Shadows/ Lights
- Reflections
- Light Shafts
- Halos in effects
- Water, Blood and a bunch of effects
- Lensflares (aproximate)
TB and SBS Mode:
- The game support SBS/TB Mode using 3Dmigoto. Remove the ";" in the ;run = CustomShader3DVision2SBS in the [Present] section of the d3dx.ini. Default TB Mode. F11 to cycle.
- Workaround (Crash) for win10 add in the ini.
Settings:
- Try to use the highest Shadows option
Know issues:
- The game have an issue with some Stain/Tint in the right eye when 2 shaders are active on screen. Because i have to tweak the main Fog shader to eliminate the stain/tint issue, sometimes part of the fog effects (not all and not all the time) is a little off....you can noticed when light shafts interact (that are fixed) with the fog for example.
Also if the stain/tint issue appear, you need to save and exit the game, and launch the game again. That stain/tint in the right eye don't go away unless you quit the game. Happens to me once, but i think i fixed (probably that batch fix i do with the halos) because i don't see it again for the entire game.
Presets:
- "O" key to enable or disable the Dot Crosshair, default OFF
- "L" key and "Right DPAD" in Xbox control to cycle between 2 convergence values (one for gameplay and the other for cinematics, camera menu and readings letters)
Instructions:
- Extract where Outlast2.exe is located (\Outlast 2\Binaries\Win64)
- Start the game, when "Rundll32" prompt appear, press "Yes". This is for the Profile Override needed for this game.
